Washington, DC – The American Association of Crop Insurers today released its 2025 annual report, highlighting what President Scott Graves called a landmark year for the crop insurance industry. The report details AACI’s role in securing key crop insurance reforms in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act reconciliation package, including the SnapBack provision for catastrophic loss events, restoration of A&O inflation indexing for Approved Insurance Providers, a new specialty crop reimbursement floor, and nationwide expansion of the poultry pilot program.
In a letter to the membership, Graves emphasized the importance of continued engagement, noting that fewer members of Congress carry institutional knowledge of farm policy and urging members to stay active in fly-ins and outreach to elected officials. Outgoing Chairman Dale Perry reflected on his two years leading the board, expressing pride in the industry’s accomplishments and confidence in incoming Chair Doug Jakway’s leadership as the association looks ahead to the upcoming Farm Bill.
The report also recaps the 2025 Crop Insurance Industry Convention held in Indian Wells, California, and features remarks from RMA Administrator Pat Swanson and Associate Administrator Ken Selzer. Finally, it highlights AACI-PAC’s continued strength; the PAC raised more than $83,700 and distributed $188,000 to House and Senate campaigns across all four regions in 2025.
